Jonathan grew up on a Cattle Ranch in North East Zimbabwe and spent his childhood days working along the anti poaching and tracking units gaining vast knowledge about conservation, anti poaching and the African bush.
At the age of 16 he started his professional guides apprenticeship in the Chizarira National Park in Zimbabwe and became the head of an anti poaching and problem animal control unit for four years.
He then moved to Gorongosa National Park in central Mozambique where he worked with the Gorongosa Restoration Project and was employed as a consultant to set up Eco tourism activities and training local guides.
In 2010 he started freelancing as a fixer and guide for wildlife film crews like BBC and National Geographic. At the same time he started his own company, South East Africa Safaris running tailor made exclusive Safaris based in Vilanculos, Mozambique.
